Who we are
Epic Portal is provided by EPIC ALGORITHMS YAZILIM DANIŞMANLIK VE DIŞ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("EpicAlgorithms", "we"), Atatürk Mah. Ertuğrul Gazi Sk., Metropol İstanbul Sitesi C1 Blok No: 2b İç Kapı No: 376, Ataşehir / İstanbul, Türkiye. These terms apply between us and the company or person that creates an account or a portal ("you"). If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.
The service
Epic Portal is a portal for a company's clients, projects and team. For each portal we run a separate install with its own database, on a server in the country you chose when you created it. You reach it on an address on epicportal.io and, with the Custom domain add-on, on a domain of your own.
Accounts
- Keep your sign-in details safe and switch on two-factor authentication. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Each portal has an owner. The owner can add admins and billing contacts, and decides who may sign in to the portal itself.
- For now an account may own one portal on the free plan. Ask us if you need more.
Plans, trials and billing
- Free plan. Includes the features listed as in every plan, for up to 3 staff seats. A free portal nobody signs in to for 30 days may be paused, and deleted 60 days later, after emails to its owner before each step.
- Paid plans. You pay per staff seat above the free ones and for the add-ons you switch on, at the prices on epicportal.io/features when you order. Prices exclude VAT.
- When we charge. Subscriptions renew on the 1st of each month, in advance. Something you add during a month is charged for the days left in it. Something you remove stays until the end of the month and is not refunded.
- Trials. Some add-ons can be tried free once, for the number of days shown. A trial ends by itself unless you add the add-on to your plan; we remind you before it ends.
- Late payment. If a payment fails we tell you and try again for 14 days. After that your portal falls back to the free plan's features; nothing you stored is deleted.
- Price changes. We announce changes to the price list at least 30 days before they apply to you.
Acceptable use
Do not use Epic Portal to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk email, to store content you have no right to, to attack or probe our systems or anyone else's, or to get around the limits of your plan. We may suspend a portal that does, after telling you unless the harm is urgent.
Your data
- What you and your users put into your portal stays yours. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor, under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms.
- We handle the data of your account on epicportal.io as controller, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- You may export your portal's data at any time by asking us.
Availability and support
We aim to keep every portal available at all times, check each one every minute, and back up its database daily in the country it lives in. Planned maintenance is announced ahead and done outside working hours where we can. Support is by email at [email protected]; paid plans are answered first.
Ending the service
- You can cancel at any time; a paid plan ends at the end of the month already paid.
- We can end the service with 60 days' notice, or at once if you seriously breach these terms.
- After a portal is cancelled we keep its data for 30 days so you can export it, then delete it, backups included within a further 30 days.
Warranties and liability
We provide Epic Portal with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise it will be free of every fault or interruption. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data that a reasonable backup routine would have prevented, and our total liability in a year is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the event. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Anadolu) have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rights consumers have in their own country.
